JACKSON PARKS
Jackson’s parks and recreation spaces are where neighbors gather, kids play, and the community comes alive. From greenways and playgrounds to community centers and sports leagues, our Parks & Recreation Department is here to keep Jackson active, connected, and growing.
Did you know?
JACKSON HAS 57 parks, 8 community centers, and multiple SPORTS fields & playgrounds.
Revitalizing Parks & Trails
As part of the Jackson Rising initiative, we’re expanding access to safe and welcoming recreational spaces for all Jacksonians. From new neighborhood parks like Farish Street Commons to trail connections such as the Museum Trail, these efforts support a healthier, more connected city where public spaces bring people together.
